Meet the Team

Amity is led by Amy Manning and Tim Webster, who first and foremost are friends, before becoming business partners. Amy has years of experience as a Social Worker and Approved Mental Health Professional before turning her hand to innovation, Clinical Entrepreneur and NHS Innovation Accelerator (NIA) Fellow. Tim is a former trainee nurse and healthcare recruitment director turned entrepreneur; he led five companies from inception to acquisition, including market leading contract sales organisation and recruitment agency Star Medical, before cofounding digital health company S12 Solutions with Amy, in 2017.

S12 Solutions was acquired in 2021 and holds 85% market share, achieved at unprecedented pace. S12 Solutions was one of only two digital health companies ever accepted onto NHS England’s prestigious Innovation and Technology Payment Evidence Generation Fund, and is a Platinum Investors in People Organisation; the highest level of accreditation achieved by just 2% of assessed organisations. During Tim and Amy’s tenure, contract renewals were sustained at 100%.

Amy and Tim have been asked by members of The Health Innovation Network, innovators, universities, charitable organisations and small to medium-sized business owners to share what they had learned on their innovation journey. They formalised this offering by founding Amity in 2023, which brings together a team of key specialists, to help others navigate the complex landscape, which exists between innovation and health and social care.
